!PrjctMax!....It's not the fact that I am impatient, it's the principle of no-one answering the post. Trust me, I am patient individual. I will continue to wait for the black one but thanks for the offer. Didn't mean to step on anybodies toes though.

they are moving just slowly, in order to get the best pricing I had to order LOTS, so they all have to be milled, then sent out for engraving, then out for anodizing, then sent back to me. I figure by end of april they will be ready to start shipping. Because the work is out sourced to multiple vendors I can not grab them 20 at a time or anything like that.

Just checkin in again. I am a patient person, just don't want this to slip through the cracks. I checked Joe's website and nothing is on there so I am assuming that they are still being produced?

Looks amazing. Are there any made without the RacingLine emblem engraved? Can't wait to get online and order mine. Will this fit with any application battery....Optima yellow top, standard OEM battery, etc?

Now I kind of wish I got the black FSTB.

I RacingLine engraved or a sticker on the tie-down?

I'll be up for a black one, when they get in. Probably go for a street series MMI too.

I installed mine on the 27th of May and already show signs of corrosion. I just purchased a deep cycle battery. What can I do to get a new black one sent to me?

Hey Josh, sorry been busy, I did get your VM though. Anodized aluminum will not corrode unless it was exposed directly to battery acid, was your battery leaking or was it over filled during a service? Have you tried using wd40 or any other compound to wipe off the residue and see if the anodize coating was penetrated?

take out your battery and sprinkle some backing soda on top of it and scrub it all over with a toothbrush or something similar to neutralize the acid. do teh same with the tie down. this should fix the problem.

BE SURE NOT TO USE TOOTHBRUSH TO BRUSH TTETH AFTER USING ON BATTERY lol

My tie down does the same thing. I noticed that few other people I know who have the tie down have the same issue. I cleaned the area, but I am getting some more corrosion again.
