Thinking about this shade, whats everyones opinion? Should I go darker

 

looks good, you could always go darker but I think that looks hot.

 

I second that. If you go to dark man it gets dangerous.

 

Dark looks great, except I had problems with the law.

 

I say go as dark as you can... if they cop is going to fck w/ you... it doesnt reallly matter what tint u have since ALL tint is illegal...

BTW... dont put on that cover over the rear plate.. i had that and i was pulled over 3 days after getting it..... cops REALLLLLLY dont like that mod LOL ...

This was an old pic before I removed the tint and got my overlays. It was painted, so it prolly was limo

 

hey man the pic of the car ny plates and in ny cops are ****ing jack asses so the shade of that car is good if you live here in ny. also i think if yoiu go too dark it will obivious and will not look cool. there is a 99 5 series near my house and h e lightly smoked his rear turn signals man that look so great my 2k i30 is getting them in the spring the it will match my tints.

 

how was installation..i wanna give it a shot myself, but I duno I don't wanna mess up..

 

yo didnt mean to jack this tread Blackmax07 .. but guys what you guys preffer? a spray paint or tint for those tail lights?

 

i took my car to a tint shop... got limo tint.. and paid 25 bucks a side... This was done the week i got my car.. and its been around a year and half... still on and holding STRONG!

 

I use niteshades. It does take a lil more than tint if you dont what you are doin.

 

Thats equivalent to my 6/10 tint .

Fast I'm thinking of doing 6/10 on my tails. Do you have a quick of what your tails look like? I don't want to go too dark on my 06 Smoke.

In addition to this, do you guys think it's worth it to tint the brake light on my 07 wing? It may go well with the tinted tails I suppose but the thing is if it's even worth it.

 

I took my car to a tint shop and they were morons. Pre made tint and they still screwed it up. I went and bought some spray tint and some gloss clear to go over it. Havent done it yet because its been cold.

 

same here. on my previous car, I had them tinted and the popos in PA stated that its illegal because of the brightness of the red when your braking.. which is total BS..
They were probably bored after their donut break

 

If you wet sand between coats theres no need for clear and comes out nice and shinny.

hey bat...do u have a tint for the 07 tail. just like it was previous said when i do my tails i want to do the spoiler also

 

07 tails and 04-06 are all the same shape..hmm spoiler overlay is a good idea..you up for making it bat?

I have an 03, but I went on ebay messing around and picked up a set of precut tint's for it. I saw some for you 6th genners also. Just look up tinted tails or something like that under maxima. They came in 35% and 20%. I got 35% cause I don't need to look like a "Bad Boy". I'm wondering if the 6/10 is around 35%. Anyone know?

 

i just got back from the tint shop and they said the tint comes off after a while and i asked them ab8 nightshades and they it also comes off whats the deal?

 

they are idiots... go somewhere else... dont ask for an opinion and just ask to have it done...

like i said.. i have had mine for over ayear... NO PROBLEMS... its a thicker 3m film... not regular tint...
