My wife's Maxima will likely need front struts pretty soon. She has 75k miles on these and I'm getting a clunk in the right front. The factory struts are just fine for her driving. We will likely give the car to our daughter when she turns 16 in two years ( against my better judgement).

What is a reasonable, inexpensive replacement that is AT LEAST as good as the factory struts? And, should I replace anything else while I'm in there like strut mounts? Should I replace the rears too?

Just put KYB-GR2's all around on mine. The group deal section has them for $210 shipped. Seem great to me so far.
