Coilovers...need feedback

Been shopping for coilovers the past few days just not sure on which brand to settle with. Would just like some input from the guys...or gals on here that currently are using coilovers. Just wanted to know how they affected your ride quality/handling, what kind of height adjustments you were able to achieve..preferably the max lowering height, and if you can suggest a certain coilover that would be great. I Personally have always just stuck with spring/strut/shock combos but im not happy with the lowered height on the eibachs, so im gonna switch to coilovers just dont want to sacrifice the ride quality. So any input is appreciated.

search, i say D2's or k-sport, 36 way adjustable vs tien's 16, i think D2 comes with camber adjustment, not sure on tien, to me people get tiens because of its oh so popular name, nice products though

well the way i can best put it, (im on k-sports), the ride doesnt feel like stock and theres no way around it with any coilovers or upgraded suspension, however it is comfortable, stiff (most call it bouncy) and improve handling and off the line traction tremendously, my recommendations, K-sport or D2's...

dollar wise its not the best bang for your buck, nice kit, but too pricey when theres others of equal maybe better quality

I had the D2's on my altima and like grand_huslte17, the ride was stiff, but comfortable. I'd recommend them as long as you don't drive on gravel roads or streets that might as well be. Lots of uneven roads get annoying quick.

I have been running K-Sports for over 3 years. And the ride is definitely not close to stock. It's very firm but with the RSB and FSTB my car drives like a go kart!!! I would have gone with Tein if they were available at the time just because i know they have a good long history. I got K-sports here in the GD section. And for the record the D2's and K-Sports are made in the same factory...so it depends on the better price and whether you want orange or blue!!! I went pretty much on looks because i too wasn't happy with how low the springs took me...

will be installing my Tein Coilovers tomorrow, will let you guys know whats up. Like others are saying and the reason I went with Tein.

I've heard K-Sport & D2 are made in the same factory so yeah why the price difference you can't be getting that much of a difference in quality.

Tein on the other hand is local, pretty reptible, and I love the ease of use and ride that it gave me on my RSX.

I have and love the D2's, may be made in the same factory but it's the new design and adjust-ability that makes in better quality than the K-Sport and Tein basic. Tein Pro street are better than D2's but will cost you about a third more...

Oh and like Taz stated, if you live in an area with bad roads, think of another setup other than coilovers...

That looks hot bro, I'm envisioning smoking hot once you get the new grill. As for the D2's, I love mine also (how do you like the true handles like on rails feeling?), but thank god for smooth roads my way too... Peace bro, glad you likie!!!

By far my favorite SE-R

Umm I seriously could probably go alot lower. If I set them all the way down the car would probably look like it was on bags lol.. they are set pretty low though I've gotta be careful where i drive and remember what bums are where but overall its not bad at all, Oklahoma does have some ****ty roads but I dont drive my car everyday and when I do drive it to work its all highway.

Yea I'm def working on getting the grill I think the car would be complete after I got the grill. The car def feels as if its sitting on rails it sticks to the ground great and rides pretty dam good for as low as I have it set. when I went to the track a few weeks ago theres a long turn kind of like a loop getting off the highway and I was behind my buddies subaru, I look down and were going around this turn at 70+ it felt great hardly any roll and no tire squeel. Thanks for the compliment man! I've still got alot of work to do to get to your level lol..
