Backed into this guy's car...

Little update:
-LED tails are on their way
-The repainted bumper doesn't match the rest of the car. It's TOO white, and my car has more of a cream color to it. But the wierd thing was when he sprayed a piece of cardboard to test, it matched perfectly. So he's going have to sand down and repaint. I guess it's extremely hard to match white paint.
-Rear quarter panel near the tailight was actually dented in half an inch. We hammered it back out until it was straight again.
-Bumper support didn't suffer much damage...only a slight crack on the driver side.

The bump on that guys Ford truck is actually an expensive Upgrade sought after by many FORD truck owners....In Canada, the fact that you were hit in the rear even if you were backing up: he did not avoid you as he was moving too would make him responsible for that accident and hence his insurance would have to pay for your damages....I doubt that guy even had insurance by the looks of his tires and the condition of his ride. Don't simply assume that because you were backing up you are automatically in the wrong....rear enders are almost never the fault of the driver's whose damage is in the back...especially if the other person was moving too.

Holy crap, Gordon.
I didn't even see this thread, until just now. Apparently, you did this on the same day that I got my car back from the shop lol. Wth is it, this month, with Houston Maximas!
BTW, I REALLY REALLY like the rear bumper sensors in my `07 :P After pulling what you did, a few times in my Xterra, that crap gets expensive after a while haha.

As nice as the fixed bumper looks what worries me is the rust under the bumper where the sheetmetal got crushed.
Did you get that sanded, primed and painted or did you just cover it up with the bumper?
