Headlight Smoked Tint Covers-Opinions?

Hey guys, I'm looking for some opinions on these headlight film covers. Has anyone ever installed them? If so, how did you like them? Do they peel easily? I guess I'm looking for some general feedback.

I'm sure it will make your light output more crappy depending on the shade. Blue batmobile sells some great quality vinyl overlays. You should check with him.

I would do that but the steps involved with taking the headlight apart, painting, etc., etc. is something I'm not willing to do right now because I need to use my car on a daily basis. Does someone on here do this mod that you guys know of? I def. like the look of the headlights painted on the inside but I'm afraid of screwing somethingn up and having a car out of comission

I spray tinted the front of my old headlights and it turned out like crap and almost no light went through.

No headlight tint for me unless very light.

it is VERY hard to make a spray tint look nice on headlights... the plastic that they use for the lights is very tough, it is covered with a coat of protectant that helps make the lights last in the weather and constant exposure to heat & cold...

I will never advocate the use of film or vinyl, but it seems to be the only way to go for headlights (seeing as how they are fairly simple to put on and last a decent amount of time)

Also- a set of hid's are very cheap nowadays, I would invest in a nice set and make sure that my light output isn't hindered by the tint...

X-vert on NYCMaximas does it and he does it well. He is so popular that I see a different maxima/g/z on my black on nearly daily basis. You can stop by in the morning, get it done and leave late afternoon I believe.

PM him.
