LOL that's not a fix, but it does work. That is the exact problem with these units.

My issue with my CD player was different. In the max, it wouldn't read cd's from time to time and read "disc error, please check disc".....

05 Nissan Maxima Cd player won't play

So I have brand new CD's in my 6 disc Bose player and they won't play. They change from disc to disc fine...but they won't play..just tells me to check disc. It doesn't even sound like they are trying to play. What needs fixed?

the best fix for the bose unit is to replace it with an aftermarket one.

I think Cruthchfield sells after market radios with adapters for Nissan radio replacement.

My cd player doesn't work in cold weather, and sticks like crazy. About 20 minutes into the drive the cd will play and stick then eventually play.

Yeah mine too...seems to take off if I turn on the heater and warn things up. However, my sub-woofer comes alive in cold weather.

bose cd changer stopped working 08 max SL

My bose cd changer stopped working and will spin the discs but then says cd error is the whole cd changer bad? And does that require a whole new head unit?

Having trouble with my Bose CD/Radio in my 2008 Nissan Altima. The button on CD player that would skip or repeat a song quit.
