I don't see why it wouldn't. I would think our car would have an easier fitment because the way the engine sits.

This biggest issue isnt if its going to fit , its hood clearence..

I was going to do the MREV2 like JIME did but again Hood clearence.

As soon as I get my MREV2 in I will see if it will clear indeed.

awesome I really would like either this or a dual intake manifold.

Your not going to benifits with a dual intake , we dont have a dual maf , you would need to have a stand alone SETUP..

If your really looking for more air up top.

Your options is Kientix Manifold

SSIM

the MREV2 has been done only with 4th genners swap vq35s.

They have more hood clearence , if you decide this route , you will also need to cut the bottle of the neck so you can run the TB off the manifold.

You will need to run your intake system with a new pipe.

I will check 4th gen forum and see what I can find. I also understand that there is no way to dual intake without a dual intake manifold that is what I am looking for. Piping is not an issue. I can run intake tube without concern. I just want the dual manifold. I know they make it for the 350z. Just need to do more research for that one. This Mrev2 is what I was asking bout cause I didn't know if it would fit. hood clearance might be a concern but I think there would be plenty if I removed that piece on the underside of the hood.

But let me ask you , WHY would you want a dual intake manifold ?

you might as well look into ITBs like the one my shop is building for the VQs

I honestly dont see why you would route dual intake pipes , besides the fact that your going to need a standalone for this setup

well honestly I don't know the answer to that. I just think of wierd ideas all the time and figure if a 350 can have it so can I. Not sure exactly what kind of gains if any I would get from a dual intake but it would deffinitly look good. I also think it would sound pretty mean too. less restriction of air flow also. I don't see why it wouldn't work better being that the manifold allready is a dual intake that goes into one at the end before the piping. also people are hallowing them out for better flow. maybe I could design a ceramic intake manifold.

if your serious about power ITBs are the way to go , again dont forget vQ35s are in all the cars,

350 is a RWD and the setup of how a dual manifold would hit the firewall and block the radaitor side, not to mention it wont close the hood.

our ECU is not setup for a dual intake and having dual intake acutally would lose more power on our cars. your better off SSIM your manifold and gain there than to go thru this project. If you wish to do it then more power to you.

Ive done as much motorwork on my engine and the only next step is goiing force induction. Ive squeeze every bolt on besides Cams and tearing down the motor.

going all N/A build is as pricey as going boost. Read up on My350z.com and you will get all your answers there. Just factor in that we dont have a HR or Revup motor, and were also FWD.

I have a list of mods on the other site

MREV II is only motordyne's way of calling its modified non-revup lower plenum. The modifications done to the plenum don't affect hood clearance.

To the OP: To use that lower plenum you're going to need the 350Z LIM and modified upper "clamshell" to work with our transverse engine configuration.
