BOSE help!!

I have an 05 with the bose system. I have noticed sometimes that when i am driving and listening to music, the volume will began to fluctuate some without me touching any of the volume controls. I actually see the volume number increase and decrease on the info screen. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to fix the problem cause its becoming annoying? Thanks in advance.

You have to go to the settings and there is a setting that you can have you music vol to increase as you drive faster, just turn the sensitivity down or off completely.

call a priest as your car is possessed. J/K do what fly says, however it shouldnt show that the numbers are going down with that setting on.

I've never noticed the volume number change, but either way press the right **** several times (past the balance, fader etc) until you see SSV/Speed Sensitive Volume, then turn the know right or left to set the SSV to low, high or off.

I believe the "SSV" is a kind of gain control. I wish I could control that myself !

i have the ssv set on high. From my understanding the volume becomes louder as speed becomes faster. Am I right? What do most of you guys have it set at? But for some strange reason the numbers would fluctuate and I dont know why. Am I the only one experiencing this so far?

I have my SSV off and the numbers fluctuate on me. It only happens during hot humid days. Humid days play mindgames with my electrical in the car. Seat belt light keeps flashing, volume dials down oddly, and everyone knows about the wonderful cd player all have. :P

I like the the Bose system in my 07 Max, but does anyone else feel like they could have made it a little better, at least for a factory radio?
