2007 maxima oil change oil plug

2007 maxima oil change oil plug was in strange place but felt like one 1/4 turn was loose and same again to 1/4 turn to tighten felt strange. Is it so that you can not strip bolt if you over tighten. Is this correct???

Your oil pan drain plug may be stripped already from what you are describing.

Yeah I am going to ask dealer and might get another bolt to see if there is a difference.
