Last Words ...

Well in approximately 48 hours I will be driving the Maxima to it's trade-in.

I just want to thank those who helped me get to her by buying the parts I had up for sale and those who have commented on my headaches throughout the last 3 years.

I love my Maxima but the time has come to part ways. I've stared long and hard at the '09 and have even stalked a couple of them going out of my way to stare at it from different angles, but out of the box, I don't like the looks of it. It's like a really pretty chick with big things and a horrible looking rear end. I tried real hard to force it on myself but I just couldn't do it.

I will be stepping into an '06 M35x with every option offered on that car. I will still have the VQ but in a heavier package with a bit more luxury.

Than you all and enjoy!!!

Best of luck with your new ride. I'm sure it will be better. Very nice choice. I love those cars.

He's on the island so he needs AWD, and for the price difference the V8 is nice but not worth it, we all want it but that's a different story

Congrats on the M35X, awesome ride, despite it's size and engine the car gets up and goes, maybe my next car

Okay because of a scheduling conflict and because i'm an idiot, mostly because i'm an idiot, I won't be picking it up till Thursday. I forgot about some scheduled training I have to attend that I can't back out of. GRRRR ...

Anyway, i'll definitely post pics after she gets washed.

Man, you're gonna love the M! I recommend getting the JIC Magic TAR VIP coilover suspension. That's what I'm slammed on with my M. Pricey but well worth it. Plus with a luxury vehicle like that...you only wanna do it big or go home. My Iforged 3pc wheels should be done soon too! Fairwell from the Maxima...but Welcome to the M Club!

FastMax : numbers have been talked. They offered me 11500 and after some arguing back and forth, they're now at 13000. I'm happy with that considering how much I owe on the car and the problems i've had/have with it. It currently has about 43,300 miles on it.

Outlawd : i don't plan on touching the car. If anything i'm going to just get the windows tinted, figure out how to hack the front LCD to show video while i'm moving, install a rear lip spoiler and possibly the rear visor and if i'm feeling really really good, a fujita or injen intake. Other than that, i'm staying away from suspension mods with this one. No good for where i'm at. Good luck with yours though.

Thanks RAM!!!

Tomorrow is the pickup day.

Well ... in less than 24 my '04 will be on the lot.

After work today I sat in it for about 5 minutes and thanked it for getting me home on certain nights, for never getting into an accident, for being powerful at the right time, and for taking care of me for 3.5 years. It's not the cars fault that the geniuses at the stealership service dept's wouldn't own up to the issues with her. Boy did I drive her hard. She never wimpered or cried. She took it like a real ***** should. I hope whoever gets her takes care of her. Premium and AMSOil Synthetic ONLY !!

However, my new *****, an '06 M35x is poised to take her place. I couldn't pass this one up as it has every option offered with that car in that year, only 24,000 miles and bourbon interior. I think it's part of maturing and getting something to drive in rather than something to drive. I tried to love the '09 Max, and it wasn't much more expensive but I think the styling is too new. Maybe it'll grow on me over time but not now. Thank you to all of those who bought my suspension parts.

My Maxima will be missed greatly ... I shed a tear ....
