Wait a lil bit longer. Something way better than Fujita coming in the next few weeks.

Need? hehe

From what I can see, even checking eBay... it's $212 now. Honestly, just wait. Fujita's filter is horrible. They even contacted R2c asking if they'd make filters for them. lol

injen ftw kicks in around 4500 and sounds like a 350z in cabin... it coughs at you when you tap it... it sounds really good..

Seeking input on 3 intakes of interest

Does anyone have personal experience - or knowledge in general - about the R2C, Weapon R - Secret Weapon and Injen SP series intakes? I've been reading the air intake threads in here and on my6thgen.org and see a lot about Fujita but not a lot about Injen, none about Weapon R, and only some initial testing data on R2C.

Any info would be much appreciated - I've never modded a car before and don't want to shell out a few hundred for something that won't make a noticeable difference.

Thanks!

I read through your updates on the R2C development which is why I'm considering them. Have they rerun the dyno test with the hood closed? I saw some other member bring that point up but didn't see where any new numbers had been posted. If not, any idea when that will be done?

All the testing is done. The product is for sale... no plans for a hood-closed dyno. Nobody dynos with their hood closed. It's a silly point to make.

The gains the R2c showed over the Fujita won't be effected with the hood open/closed.

Heh... I had my Fujita on for I think 2 years... my throttle body was FILTHY. Fujita's filters are some of the worst that have been tested. Just an FYI.

The nismo CAI work pretty good after your ecu notice the upgrade, i also hade the first gen injen CAI i felt a torque increase but the design was poor, and it was loud like a truck people us to run off the road when i was coming at 3500rpm.I end up making a short-ram intake that made use of the stock air ducts the best intake in my opinion.
