Cold Air Intake
#4
My light came off by the third start-up. It may not have even come on but for some reason I had to start it for a second with the other intake off. Can't remember why but it was only for a second, think it was to turn the wheel.

I've had both Injen and Fujita installed in my ride and IMO both perform equal, I liked the look of the Fujita better but then Injen came out with a new look which looks hot also...

I currently have the injen installed and i love it. Plus if ever you see a puddle coming up, u can always turn ur injen cold air intake into a short ram intake...lol...just my opinion....but hey, you can save alot with the fujita....go woith ur pocket.

Spectre Intake. I can post all the parts I got later to build mine if you want. You can pick the parts up at any Autozone or Checkers store near you. I think I spent like $20 for the filter, $30 for the tubing and rubber joints, and another $20 for the section to make it cold air. So $70 total. Easy install and sounds incredible. When you lay on it it growls to about 3k rpm then screams the rest of the way. I like turning heads at the bus stops around town. The best feeling is when you pass a crotchrocket and scare the hell out of them.

i just bought a nismo cai and i am waiting for it to ship, but i have really only heard good things about it, and plus until two posts ago(with the hydro shield) i heard it was the best thing for rainy days.

I had one in my 99, and all I had to do to install it in my '04 was to bend the bracket that secures it to the chassis.

But now I have a Fujita... love that as well!

I had both an Injen and Fujita CAI on my car for 4+ years with zero hydo issues. And we get a good amount of rain in Maryland. I just tended not to drive my car like a Submarine Commander!!! If a person is a little shidish, get the NISMO or install one of these over your filter.

if you think laying down and unscrewing 2 screws and popping 3 clips is a chore than something is wrong... lol
but naww, its easy. should take maybe 10 minutes.

There is really not an argument here. If you think about all the responses, one is not better than the other. The only difference is sound(very marginal, because they are all pretty silly in your car) and looks.
Just think about two things: what you would rather see in your bay time and time again, and is that look really worth the difference in price between both.
BTW i gotta rep the fujita here.
