I've purchased a few items from parts bin in the past. They were not for the maxima, but there were no problems at all. I have also had to replace all studs on both sides of the front axle because of idiot mechanics striping them getting my wheels on... Although I was reimbursed for it later, the initial cost to replace the studs was $275.
KC,
can you explain for us newcomers? So there are different length studs that can be applied to the maxima huh? I never new that. Whats the advantage to getting those nismo ones? I had no idea. I really thought a stud was just a stud, but your post made it seem as if there are different lengths or qualities to choose from.

ummm its actually quite easy...
if you can put on ur own front sway bar...this should be a walk in the park. lolxz
buh its really kinda hard to explain...
well as soon as you take the wheel off...then the brake caliper...then the rotor...
it should be self explain.
FYI just remember unlike european designs where it is a screw-like design, japanese vehicles use a stud and bolt design.
and word of advise regarding how to get the stud nice a snug in place...use a lot of washers and pull it threw using the bolt. i don't know if that made any sense buh once you open it up i think u'll see what i'm talkin about.
