RacingLine FSB installed

This bar is a piece of art after installation. I did it this past Sunday but I had to put the finishing touches on it today. Install was a breeze but I was more worried about the trimming of the plastic covers I even started a thread on what knife to buy. Everyone suggested the Dremel but instead my weapon of choice was a X-acto razor saw blade purchased at Michael's (a crafts store) for $10. This frakin' blade is the shiite. It was so surgical that it accomplished what I wanted to do, minimal cutting. I loved the way it turned out.

Finished product

Driver side

Passenger side

A/C line unclipped and moved forward.....oooooh sooo close

Weapon of choice

Oh yeah, since the A/C line is so close to the bar, I put a circular padding, the kind you put under a lamp or speaker to keep it from scratching the furniture.

Yo Gollum, the install and cut came out awesome man. I like that bling on the racingline FSB. I still wouldn't trade in my stillen though

So how do you like the cornering now? Your face is not plaster on the driver side do when taking turns now, huh? LoL... I think the FSTB and the RSB with endlinks are the best staring mods someone should go with. It definitely gives your suspension a huge improvement in ride quality from stock.

Trim looks neat, good job. I would like to see you have a little more clearance at the AC line

Great buy. I just bought and installed mine a bout a month ago. Great mod. I should have used a sharper knife to cut the plastic pieces tho. I cut the plastic then tried to snap the piece off but i ended up snapping the whole cover in half. Oh well. The fujita rocks too!

Before I installed the front and rear sway bars, I did a little test to see how much of a difference the handling changed. I have the Tein's, KYB's, and Racingline enlinks already installed so when I did my "slalom" course on an empty mall lot, the car felt good already. Then I installed the RSB and the handling became a little tighter. Installing the FSB just completes everything. The front end feels tight. What I notice the most is when you hit the bumps on the road, it will be a bit harsher because the front end doen't flex as much as it did. At first I thought I had forgotten to tighten some of the bolts, but that was not the case, the bar is doing its job.

You and I both. This tight fitting is unavoidable with the RacingLine and Stillen FSB.

There are more mods that I'm currently working on. Actually there is a small clue on the first pic. It also involves the the color black. Hope to get everything done by April fools for the debut

Gollum,

Looks good bro. Good to see that the install is pretty str8 forward. I was just advised to get the FSTB from racingline too. Now they just sent me an email this afternoon saying the item is out of stock for at least six weeks. F$#@..

Luckie1nE,
Did you get that email too? I know you ordered a few days before I did. I ordered last Thursday.

This AC line will bend easily, apply pressure and bend to the front of the engine bay & down toward the engine just a little to get about 1/8" to 3/16" clearance

You can also bend the yellow piece of metal which the AC line sit on and add that little extra clearance. That's what I did and it works well. On the front strut tower bar, do you have a rubbing/grinding issue when you place you car in reverse and reve the engine? That happens with my stillen one.

Looks great Gollum!!

As for the out of stock issue. With all the new stuff coming out for the new maxima, the altima coupe, and a few stuff in the works for you guys too, I didn't keep a close enough eye on stock.

The Good news is when the new stock does get here the logo will be laser engraved! not a decal like previous

As well a GB will also be offered once they are done and instock

Is there any FSB out there that doesn't rub against your hood or force you to cut stuff out?
