My saga with front wheel splash guard continues

I replaced my other on the driver side not too long ago because the bottom was starting to wear out with a 4 inch hole..

Well this time, the other side..... just came off, right when I on the hwy!!! not goood.
I felt this huge rush of air coming inside the AC vents and I just thought the AC unit was going crazy so I pulled over. I figured it had to do with with air/or intake or some sort. So I went outside and looked under the car, and sure enough.
Normally it wouldn't bother me that much, but the bad news is that the thing came off and was stuck towards the wheel. So without knowing , I was grinding it with my bran new GY tires,......really really put a damper on my mood today. I noticed plastic black stuff all over my tire, is this going to be ok? I figure this might just rub off as I drive off, but I dunno. Any thoughts?
Luckily it's just one tire.

There goes 63 dollars down the drain. Which could have gone to the rear spoiler I have been wanting...grrrrr

oh ya the title was suppose to say "saga" i dunno how to edit the title.

dam that sux man... the tire doesn't look that badly damaged to me. just some surface scrape. did you notice any cuts in the thread? i doubt the plastic was that strong enough to cause that though.

Are you still on the side of the Hwy waiting for an answer???

Anyway if you do not see any nicks or chucks taken out of the tire, you should be OK...

LOL Actually a cop was right in front of me when I pulled over and that B--stard neva even came to see what was up if I needed help

I put ina new liner and just got done a couple of hours ago, this time I went to Lowes and bought bolts and nuts and big washers for all the holes that I had access on both sides.

The plastic residue came off pretty easy, I just did a couple of hard starts from a couple of stop signs and that seemed to do the trick, she looks clean.

Taking off the tires and seeing my rotors really really really makes me want to put new rotors on this puppy already.

Ya youre right, it wasn't strong enough to do anything to the tires. I was really worried that it was going to damage the Boot. Cause I just replaced that thing, and I was praying when I took the wheels off that the boot was going to be unharmed...but she is good, just a lil tiny scratch but it didn't cut it.

Nope, not lowered. And actually there is a non-genuine nissan one that is identical in fitment but it only cost 30 bucks. A local shop out here could have ordered it, but someone on this forum told me the material on that one is not as sturdy? I Just wanted to replace it asap so thats why i went to stealership

some other ones quoted me 90 to 100.

I am still missing the splash guard underneath the engine

lol you must be really surprise cause you said this yesterday.

She is back to pretty now. Bolted them at the bottom so hopefully it should withstand some ....relatively high speeds

Can someone tell me if the splash guard is suppose to go inside the bottom bumper or over like i have it there? Now I am thinking it's suppose to go under...I did the other side a few months ago and i did it this way so Ijust thought it would be this way...but maybe I have it on wrong.

What part is bent? Since it's a liner, I doubt a bend would really matter.
