It feels like it might be able to be pulled off from the front but it feels like it will break something if you pull hard on it. Anyone know how this comes off? Trying to paint it.

I swapped airbags when I changed my steering wheel. I did a thread on it. I believe it just pops out. Id disconnect the battery so airbag doesnt go off.

 

Would the airbag really go off if I pulled that thing off?

 

I dont believe it would. But do you want to risk having a bomb go off if ur face? Not me.

 

Just get going around 15mph and crash into a wall, it will come right off....
