can anyone solve my problem?

So I changed my brake pads about 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. Then suddenly yesterday I noticed the car would shake violently and make a grinding noise whenever I braked hard. I had a friend tell me it was probably the rotors, so I just got through installing those, but the shaking and noise still persists. I did the recommended break in for the pads when I put them in, and can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong. The car is an '04 with 101K miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

maybe the rotors were installed incorrectly or they're not sitting on there straight.

go get a free brake inspection from Midas. They will tell you what you need to know.

Nope, only the check engine light came on. I'll go get them inspected from a pro...
