What are the main differences between the chromoly, aurora bearing, and stainless steel? Other than being different materials, what are the specific advantages to having each one? (i.e. durability, performance, etc.) Are the different options more for cosmetic preferences?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Stainless is well, stainless steel. and is therefor good for northern climate cars that see snow/salt. --- the down side is stainless is not as strong as the other 2 options, so they are not recommended for track use or those that drive hard enough-often enough that they should be on a track. Mainly for the daily driver looking for a simple and more reliable upgrade.
Aurora- is a true 3 piece design that is high strength and high precision. they are good for cars that do see aggressive driving or track use, and want the name brand appeal and security. However they are yellow zinc plated, therefore they will need cleaning every so often. More so if used in snow/salt conditions
Chromoly is a balance of all worlds- Chromoly alloy is very very strong, chrome dipped for rust prevention. Chrome dip is better than zinc, but still not 100% impervious to the elements.

Placed my order for both front and rear.
Question:
Is it possible to get the rear chromoly with the aurora bearings? Not sure after reading the "More info" page if these are separate options. The more I read it the more it sounds like it is but I just wanted to be sure...

Are the installation instructions on the site for the front endlinks correct? It seems that the members on the org have the front endlinks with the bushing end attached to the strut. The instructions on the website show the bushing end attached to the sway bar.

Clarification..................The instructions have changed slightly
The first releases of the Front endlinks came with 2 different sized bushings, the larger one in the pic that Josh posted above was a spacer to make sure nothing rubbed on the tab for the strut/endlink.
The OEM struts have the C shaped tab facing inward toward the endlink and therefore need some back spacing to avoid the endlink making contact and possibly breaking.

KYB struts have the tab facing the tire, If you have KYB's you can pretty much install the endlinks almost any way you want since it mounts to a smooth surface with no chance of binding.
![](http://www.racinglineperformance.com/images/KYB_EL.jpg)
The change was made cause the 2 different sized bushings comfused some people. The extra flanged nut already attached to the ball joint created a simpler install for most and cut down on installation errors.
Both styles and versions perform the same, the switch as mentioned was purely for easy of installation

The first rounds have gone out. more will be leaving today.
Then there are about 12 orders with front endlinks that will not ship till tuesday because of a shortage of bushing that will be arriving on monday ( delay was mentioned in the first post of teh GB)

Hey, Taz. Just seeing if you got my PM about whether that part was shipped. The closest shop I can get it done is 70 miles away from where I stay, and they usually need a two day notice so they can hold a bay open for me. I don't have any days off this month so I usually try to schedule it for Saturdays after seeing patients in the hospital. Thanks.
