headlight issue.....

-factory hid headlights
-brand spankin new hid fogs
-aftermarket 6k d2s bulbs (brand new one for the bad headlight)

with that lil info im having a issue with my passenger side headlight. my turning signal turns on when i hav my lights on but my fogs and headlights don't turn on. while my driver side headlight everything works perfectly.

i replaced the fuses and still no luck. i swapped the bulb/ballast for my fogs and that worked perfectly fine when i tested it out on the good headlight but not when i put it back on the passenger headlight. any clue on why that is?

now my headlight bulb. i replaced it with a brand new bulb and still doesn't work. like i mentioned be4 replaced the fuse still doesn't work. only thing i didn't do was change the ballast. if another ballast doesn't work any1 hav ideas on why that doesn't work as well?

I think you either have a power or ground problem with power being most likely. I would first start by using an ohm meter to test continuity of the ground to the ballast. Then use a volt meter to see if there is power going to the ballasts.

From looking at the power routing diagram in the 2007 FSM(assuming the 2005 is the same) there are separate 15amp fuses for the driver and passenger head/fog lights in the IPDM/fuse box on the passenger side. Check the 15amp fuses #43, #41, and #34.

The head/fog lights on the passenger side share a ground E24 located behind the washer tank as well according to the FSM.

I would check the big squareish plug/harness. Some of the wires might have come out of the harness when you ripped/unplugged the headlights.
Both fog and main are located there. Probably that shared connection.

maybe a relay. when they go bad lots of stuff can go wrong causing you to chase a ghost. check the relays first. Do it correctly too. Either use a multimeter and a power source or just buy new ones and replace until they work. if those aren't it then trace the wiring. Fuse, Relay, wiring in that order.
