6k H3 Hid fogs
6k H3 Hid fogs
hey guys, i just finished adding my 3rd set of hids to my max. i came up with a creative way to install the wiring to the h3 fogs. i cut the wires going into the fog light cap, connected the hid power/ground cable to the oem wires. i was able to run wires to the h3 hid bulb without using a hole drill bit. it takes a little bit of patience but after cutting off the 2 wires, ground and power, i pulled out the oem wires and fed the hid amp connectors. the way i did that was cut the wire, fed it through and soldered/shrink wrapped it afterwards.
just finished a bit ago so sorry if this sounds all jumbled.
btw, i have a 04 max with a 08 oem front end converision minus the hood and headlights.
i have 6k in the headlights, 3k in the bumper fogs and now 6k in the headlight fogs.

something is not right about the ebay post. I mean I have 6k bulbs and they look like the 25k bulbs. I didn't even know bulbs went to 25k. I thought it was 12k for purple or something like that. Also I don't have HID bulbs I have Plasmaglow Bulbs that look like HID. I went that route because it's way cheaper and come with a no questions 10 year free replacement warrenty.
