clicking noise with new rotors
Hi, I just installed some Rotorpros front and rear with pads and when going down the street I hear a low clicking noise. It gets faster as I speed up. I've takin it apart 3 times to check everything and they look fine. Could the direction of the vents make a the noise. Also could the way the slots and drill holes make the noise. Thanks.

when you first put pads on you hear a slight noise but it's more of a tss tss tss tss sound. that should go away after a hundred miles. then it should sound like that only when braking. should not have a clicking sound while driving. I recommend getting a second set of eyes on there and just tell them you hear noise. you can also go to MIDAS for a free brake inspection. Just don't let them con you into getting service done unless you are up for it. they can put it on a lift and spin the wheels to find where the contact is or what is loose. good luck.

Most likely normal...if its there after a week,. let us know. New pads and rotors will scrape mildly. Also, the other scenario is that you bent your dust shield a little on install and its rubbing.

well its more like the sound of lets say the vanes of the rotor with the wind or if you blow into a fan thats spinning. Idk. The performance doesnt seem to be affected and there is no scaping sound. Gonna take a look at it again this weekend and if I cant figure it out, I will have a second look. Thanks for the help.
