Which alarm for 07?

Ive been looking around for about two months for an alarm for my car. The only one I like is the viper 5901. Anyone using other type of alarm? Does anyone have the 5901 if so how do you like it?

Remote smart is the main thing.

I have the 5901 and it works great with no problems. Auto start works like a charm and there are a TON of options for this model. Def worth the buy. Amazon got it for like 200 and change.

Im going with the 5901. There are so many things I can do with that system. Ebay has a couple for $225. Hope to have it installed in the next couple of weeks.

With both the Viper and Clifford alarms mention you lose the ability to use your push button entry on your door is that right?

Yea, you will lose the push button entry on the door with ALL aftermarket alarms. You get used to using the remote though. The button will still work but you can't use it to unlock the doors or else your aftermarket alarm will go off. You could use it to lock the doors though & after like 10 seconds your aftermarket alarm would activate by itself.

No, don't get it done like that. Originally when my installer was doing the install he was going to put my 2nd intelle key into the alarm box but that wouldn't work. They have to get a idata link module to install which eliminates the use of putting a intelle key in the car.
With the module you get to keep your intelle keys.

I have been looking for an aftermarket alarm for my 07 as well. I like not having to get my key fob out of my pocket and just push the intelikey button on the door. An alarm with trigger wires for arm/disarm could be connected. The CA-670 has the wires according to the installation manual. Just have to find an installer familiar with the particular alarm.

You'll have to pay extra for a bypass unit -- if you give them an intelligent key and they hide it in the car then anyone can open the door using the door sensors. Someone had it installed that way on another Nissan/Infiniti (I think I read it on one of the Altima forums dont remember) and they had their car stolen, when the car was found the claim adjuster called and asked if they knew that their door opened without a key, they just played dumb and said no lol

What other options does the CA-670 offer? Window controls, trunk release, etc...

Well the stock alarm doesnt do anything if someone say..steals your rims..or breaks your window n takes everything from inside..
The stock alarm would only go off if someone opens the door by opening the lock from inside n then opening the door.

When you have mod's & things done to your car your gunna need a aftermarket alarm to protect your investments. I personally have the 2 way lcd pager so it alerts me everytime my alarm goes off this way i know whats going on. If someone taps my car, my alarm would go off.. i have it real sensitive due to living in ny & having things done to my car.
