trunk wont open from inside or keyfob

i took apart the dash to install some stereo stuff but put it back together with the exception of the glove compartment which is being painted now and will be on in a couple days.

but my trunk will not open, and i am just curious if the trunk switch/cable runs through something in the glove-compartment piece?

My gas switch works fine and it is in the same little switch in the door(the one that opens the gas door thing)

any suggestions?

i cant get into my trunk at all, even with the key(theres no keyhole, just intellikey which doesnt do anything)

U try that button inside the glove department on the left side? That should open the trunk.

I bet you have the trunk lock out switch in the glove box disconnected while your getting your glove box painted.

If you need to get in bad enough, lay your back seat down. There is a manual release located in the center of the trunk lid.
