Just put on some rays 19's and wing - pics

Put some Rays 19's staggered, the 07 wing and believe it or not, I'm sitting on eibachs!!! Wanna cut a 1/4 turn off the front springs to drop it a little more. Another guy on the forum did it and says it ride like stock. What do you guys think?

They look better then I anticipated. Don't cut the springs just yet. I don't see how they would ride like stock when it doesn't ride like stock now. It will be stiffer if anything. I have the same springs and it took few weeks for them to settle. I have a 1" gap now. If you do decide to cut, cut a small portion from the top and same on the bottom. Don't cut it all from the top.

Welcome to the rays club. I would recommend that you get lower springs, sell the eibachs and not cut your stock:
1 its dangerous
2 if you sell the car, put it back to stock and sell the lowering springs

Thanks fellas! I'm very happy with them, they do look better than what I expected. Love the stagerred look. As for the springs, eibachs are the lowest available with a two inch drop in the front. The back looks great, just want the front a little lower. My buddy did it to his 93 rx7 with some teins and there's a guy here that has a white 6th gen with 09 max rims that did it. Both say, there's no difference. Well see, thanks for the comments

Are you running the tires from the G?

Also, you say you love the staggered look? It's .5" wider. You can see that?

Don't recommend cutting springs especially Eibachs cause they have a lifetime warranty and you live in the north where there is winter and some crappy roads. You will crack your springs and then you will be looking at major repair work if it happens while you're driving.
Plus a lot of us here have had to replace their top bearings and plates because of the increased wear from lowering. It looks and drives nice as is. JMTC & IMHO.

lighty0770: This is where I got my wing $119 painted and shipped! Can't beat that, I thought it was an excellent deal. Not dealer quality but acceptable, very pleased

KCmaxx: I'm running the stock size from the 225/40-19 up front and 245/40-19 out back. IMO the 225 is way too thin for an 8" rim, we run 245 on our stock 7.5", so the tire kinda goes in. Also keeping the the "40" in the front and back while going wider makes the front tire noticeably lower. When these run out I would like to go 245/40 up front and 265 or 275/35 in the back if they fit! but for now this will have to do. As for the extra .5" you can see it in the center of the rim, the rears go in deeper in the center plus the tires being wider. Not very noticeable just suttle. I like it cuz it looks "stock" and thats the look I was going for

Ok so I cut the springs on Monday night. Been driving around for the last two days and I gotta say, It feels the same. It did lower the car a little bit more in the front too. I don't have any type noises or anything. Pretty happy with it. We cut 1/4 turn off the bottom of the front springs, can't cut the top because the top is smaller for the first turn then it widens to be the same for the remainder of trhe spring.

BeforeAfterClose up

Wish I had taken a close up of before but I didn't. Not sure if you can really tell the difference, the other part thats killing it is that these rims came with 225/40 in the front instead of 245/40 which is the right size for the G35 but on the max they look too small and make the wheel well look bigger. Oh well this will have to do for now until these tire wear out and then I'll try to get bigger front tires. getting an alignment tomorrow and hopefully it will fix my camber issues in the back cuz my back tires are gonna wear like crazy on the inside if they cant fix it!
