Need Halogen Headlight Bulb

Where can I buy online a drivers side halogen headlight bulb? Dealer wants 70.00 dollars for the part. 107.00 dollars TOTAL parts/labor. Wan't to buy the part online, and take it to the dealer. Labor will be the same.

Is the #9012, or is that HIDS?

halogen is 9012, however you can use 9011 or modify the 9006 to fit. Labor is free if you are willing to do the work. there are a couple threads on this allready. I recommend using the 9011's if you want brightness and the 9006's if you want a different color, like blue tinted.

I changed both sides on my car about 2 months ago along with both fog light bulbs too since I had everything apart. What a pain just to change a light bulb. They are a few write ups on how to do this if you a up for the task. I bought my bulbs online at store.candlepower.com. I decided to buy the new Philips 9012 that came out earlier this year. They are might brighter than the Toshiba bulbs I had before in my opinion. I do a lot of night driving so I noticed the difference right away. Dealership prices are about twice as much as the online prices. Don't buy it from them unless you are in a crisis situation and you need the bulb(s) right away. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure my car has HID as well given the lights are bright, anyone know how to verify this?

Look for a blue tint against your garage door/wall etc.

Don't want to jack your thread but I think I can help. I can get you guys HID kits for are plug and play all you have to do is find a spot to mount the box and drill a hole in the headlight cover to put the wires thru. For a 2004-06, the factory bulb is 9012, The aftermarket HID is 9006. Says your supposed to file down a tab but if you wiggle it around it will fit. The color difference between the fog light and headlight is very noticeable. If the headlight and foglight look the same color than you dont have HID's. Im in CT Let me know

see there are sponsors that pay money to sell on here... and they are even cheaper than what you want so...

Dont mean to thread jack but im having an issue with the factory HID system. One of the ballasts appear to have gone bad because it just gives a quick flash when the headlights are turned on but then stay off while the other one stays on. I bought an oem replacement ballast but im not sure how to replace it. Does the whole headlight assembly need to be removed and if so how do i go about doing that? Any help is appreciated. I have an 05 btw.

Hello guys,
First of all, I hate Nissan to make it so difficult to change a headlight bulb :|. Then, making the bulb kind so expensive to make money I guess :|.... anyway, one of my bulbs blew out, and I am looking for a replacement... its 9012... I am thinking of getting 9006, but then I have to get the whole HID kit... I am getting it cheap on ebay (about 35 bucks, whole kit)... however, not really sure which way to go...
Any suggestions? If I wana go with Halogens, or upgrade to HID? BTW, is there any decent alternative with angle eyes and stuff out there (whole assembly)...
Also, I took the bulb out just by going through the tire side.... is there a write up on how to take off the bumper .
Will really appreciate your thoughts.
Take care.
