Hood stops?

Hello all,

When I bought my Maxima, it had some front end damage (the core support was shot) so I decided to swap over to the 07/08 front end. My hood is rattling around a little bit, and I notice that there are no hood stops.....

Is this because I just don't have them or are there none on the 04-08's? I can't imagine they just have the latch holding it steady, that's one point in the front where a lot of turbulence comes up.....

In looking for pictures, I found none that show hood stops for our year but in case you were wondering what they were I'm attaching a pic of them on an older model Max....do we not have these:

Right, but I have not seen an 04-08 picture that shows them.....or I am blind and missing it

Up to 03, I see tons of pics that show them. That's why I'm wondering if they came up with a new way to stabilize the hood lol

The hood stops on a 6th gen are attached to the hood itself. They are under the front corners of the hood.

They should be under the hood, the bumper/headlight area should just have a flat circular plastic -- the shop probably forgot to order them
