Switchbacks installed

This is the orginal post: http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...resistor.html?

I installed the switchbacks and resistors. I have the black LED tail lights from ezkoncepts (http://www.ezkoncepts.com/led%20tails.html). I added the 6 ohm resistors in the trunk as described in the first thread. The wires you tap into are the green/yellow & the green white (for a 2008). It took some time but it's worth it. The front driver side headlight I shaved (with a dremmel) part of the plastic housing to incorporate the 1/4 turn towards the outside of the vehicle to replace the marker light. On the passenger side, you have to unbolt the radiator over-fill container. Move it out of the way then that light is a 1/4 turn downward towards the ground. That one took a bit longer to get back in the headlight because I was concerned I'd damage one of the LED's. Once I got them installed I checked everything. From turn signals; individually and hazards together, headlights on, fog lights on, EVERYTHING. There is no fast blinking interior on the dash or compared to the front or rear actual 'blinks'. Enjoy the pics and video.

A man after my own heart, I love the all white look up front. The switchbacks are a little bit of work but well worth it IMO. Came out very nice!

Damn man, nice job!!! You just inspired me to get some switchbacks in the future. I already got 6000k heads and fogs.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. It took some time wiring and installing the 6 ohm resistors in the trunk because of how tight it was but once I got them installed, and got past the eery feeling of splicing the wrong wires, it ran smooth. Going to work now on the 'cornering' light and make that an LED so it produces more of a dispersed illumination vs. the soft glow it currently has.

Now these are wicked! White parking circuit and Amber High/Turn, specifically designed for clear front turn signal lenses. Now you can have that HID white look you want and still be totally legal. M-SMT is the latest technology in LED design, and the future of LED lighting. These are brighter and more effective than standard LEDs. This bulb has 24 Amber, and 24 White radial firing LED's that fire perfectly into the chrome reflectors of your cars lamp assembly creating a sparkling effect, and 6 Amber, and 6 White Forward firing LED's to fill out the front of the lens. These are by far the most trick LED bulbs on the planet!

They look good of course: Hi my name is Jsmithsole and I have been using switchback for 6 years and can't stop....lol

I have always ran the OG patented switchbacks from www.autolumination.com and upgraded to the 60 LED ones recently.
Way brighter than the old 30's I had before.

People have actually been having issues with the switchbacks from autoillumination and have switched to V-LED's. Just to help out people in the future that don't know anything about switchbacks

My bulbs arrived! Now I can't figure out how to get the old ones out to put the new ones in! There's hardly any room. Do I need to take the whole headlight assembly out? I need a little advice from some who's done this. Thanks.

Its alot easier to work, if you have fat fingers, to drop the bumper and unbolt the head light housings. I have done it so many times that i can have it off in less than ten minutes.
