The car has quite a bit of weight reduction already.
Also, why do I need low end torque?

I'm gonna take a little more weight out and hopefully have some good track prep. Also gonna take off the power steering belt. If I can get the car to pull a 1.7 60' it's in the bag. Hopefully I can make it happen.

Obviously the 3" is making power then. lol

Low end TQ is your primary power band off the line for 1/4 mile runs...

my maxima only have kyb suspension, 08 maxima se oem wheel 18" w/ BFGoodrich KDW, K&N Filter about 270 HP @ Crank, but i was race with BMW 135i with 2 people about over 125 mph then little beat it on highway, i not know why about my car is too fast than BMW 135i? but i never use my maxima on track or gtech pro so im guess my car can hit 13.8 @ 102 mph on stock weight?

SAE Certified Power
In 2005, the SAE introduced "SAE Certified Power" with SAE J2723. This test is voluntary and is in itself not a separate engine test code but a certification of either J1349 or J1995 after which the manufacturer is allowed to advertise "Certified to SAE J1349" or "Certified to SAE J1995" depending on which test standard have been followed. To attain certification the test must follow the SAE standard in question, take place in a ISO9000/9002 certified facility and be witnessed by an SAE approved third party.
A few manufacturers such as Honda and Toyota switched to the new ratings immediately, with multi-directional results; the rated output of Cadillac'ssuperchargedNorthstar V8 jumped from 440 to 469 hp (330 to 350 kW) under the new tests, while the rating for Toyota'sCamry 3.0 L V6 fell from 210 to 190 hp (160 to 140 kW). The ES330 and Camry SE V6 were previously rated at 225 hp but the ES330 dropped to 218 hp (163 kW) while the Camry declined to 210 hp (160 kW). The first engine certified under the new program was the 7.0 L LS7 used in the 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Certified power rose slightly from 500 to 505 hp (370 to 377 kW).
While Toyota and Honda are retesting their entire vehicle lineups, other automakers generally are retesting only those with updated powertrains. For example, the 2006 Ford Five Hundred is rated at 203 horsepower, the same as that of 2005 model. However, the 2006 rating does not reflect the new SAE testing procedure as Ford is not going to spend the extra expense of retesting its existing engines. Over time, most automakers are expected to comply with the new guidelines.
SAE tightened its horsepower rules after some engineers noticed parts of the old test could be subjected to different interpretations. Under the old testing procedures, there were small factors that required a judgment call: how much oil was in the crankcase, how the engine controls were calibrated and whether a vehicle was tested with premium fuel. In some cases, such can add up to a change in horsepower ratings. A road test editor at Edmunds.com, John Di Pietro, said decreases in horsepower ratings for some '06 models are not that dramatic. For vehicles like a midsize family sedan, it is likely that the reputation of the manufacturer will be more important.

The front-wheel-drive Maxima sedan comes in two trims. The luxury SL offers heated leather seats, power front seats, a 6-CD player, wood and leather accents, xenon headlights, and 17-inch wheels. The sportier SE comes with sport seats, a CD player, leather trim, and a good-sized rear spoiler. Both trims are fueled by a 255-hp, 3.5-liter DOHC V6 and CVT transmission.

I don't know. Don't really care either. MPH shows the real power.
Not really, I'm launching at 6500rpms.
My car doesn't use any low end torque the entire run.

Unfortunely the automotive industry adapted a new SAE standard in 2005 which recalculated the way a cars hp standards are measured so a stock 6th gen Maxima was remeasured at 255 crank HP!

So you're red lining at the line before launch??? I suspect a glove box juice pack! Nothing about a 6th gen auto or manual puts it in the low 13's. The car was never built for those numbers and your car must be a freak of nature to achieve those numbers all motor with a CAI and 3" exhaust. Sorry NOT buying it!

It's not like I'm trying to hide what I have done to the car.
I mean I posted a damn thread about it.

Did you read the thread? I have a video of it. Just because you can't run the time doesn't mean it's impossible.

you may have won that "sprint" but come around the next time you run into a 135i you might not fair so easy.

listen , if I had a passenger in ANY of my car, I would NOT be playing around with someones life in my car, therefore a person that owns a BMW is a bit more mature and with a passenger , was probally toying with you.
