foglights keep going out

ok so in the past few months i have replaced the passenger side foglight twice. Now the headlight went out and while waiting for it to come in the mail the damn foglight went out for a third time. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on here? Oh and it's a 2004 se.
thanks,

have you been touching the bulbs with your bare hands when you install them?

even touching them with oily hands, shouldn't make them go out that fast. try installing bulbs through the fender well. I don't even have to touch the bulb when working it from there. Might take a bit of time the first go around, but easy after that. If you are still having them blow out, I would take it to nissan and have them install the bulbs for you. don't tell them they are blowing out, just have them install the bulbs. their work is warrantied. cost a bit more but they will replace them if they do it again, and should be fully covered.

I learned how easy it was to mess up a bulb life by touching it the hard (or should I say easy?) way. On my old Explorer, I was replacing the low beam bulbs by touching them and no less than a few weeks later they both went out. Good thing I wasnt far from home and my fogs still worked.

my 05' fogs have this same problems!! I might go with the HID's that should solve the problem, if it isn't an electrical issue
