Has anyone replaced fuel filter?
I have 140k on my Max. Now I know our fuel filter is supposed to be "Lifetime" HA HA but has anyone here taken out the back seat and replaced theirs? I think I read somewhere that the fuel filter for the 03' fits or maybe I am wrong. I really want to replace mine. Thanks in advance!

I read a serious and long article not long ago stating that the fuel filter on any modern injection car would not even be clogged at 1 milion KM unless you filled the tank with mud or something.
Do not change the fuel filter. No need for it. The car will fall apart before you need to replace the fuel filter.

WARNING! Replace fuel filter every one million kilometres, or 25 years, whichever comes first!
I think a sticker on the fuel filter stating: Warning! "This is not a fuel filter", may prove to be more effective.
