Carnage, please help!

Guys,

Had the displeasure of cracking my UIM while changing plugs. Anybody got one laying around they would like to sell me cheap?

Yes it's possible! I was on the tightening down the nut on the left stud that holds the UIM to the LIM and it just went "pop" I almost **** myself. By the way, I was doing everything per the FSM, so I don't know what went wrong.
It's a 2004 by the way.

you using a breaker bar or somethin? sure its not the stud?

Nope, torque wrench. Set to 15 lb-ft. Oh, and it's definitely the IM that's cracked. You can see it.

Ok, so I'm going to JB weld it and keep my fingers crossed. Should actually work out fine. If not, it will fail catastrophically. Pray for me gentlemen!

your suppose to tighten from the middle then out to the left and right...

ive seen those popped a few times, just get it welded if you got a local guy.

Thing is, I was doing it just as you describe. I must have not seen something or the manifold wasn't level or something. Thanks for your input!
