Got clipped - Side mirror broke
So driving down the Cross Bronx the other day I got clipped by a truck and it broke the glass portion my my passenger side mirror. luckily, the housing was only scuffed, but now I need a new mirror.
I have a 2007 with auto-dimming side mirrors. can I just replace the glass, or is there a special mirror for the auto dimming that i need to go find somewhere.
Thanks!

I am gonna say that the glass is probably special as well. My rear-view mirror (auto-dimming) broke and it ran me $260 cause it has the special glass in it. I am not sure, but I would guess it is not gonna be as cheap as you would like.

My dad busted his side mirror on an expedition a couple years back and it only had automatic adjusting but it cost him something like 4 or 500 to fix it. Honestly just call a few junk yards and try to get one off a totaled Maxima (of course with an undamaged side mirror) and if that doesnt work check courtesyparts because they have pretty low prices on Nissan parts. If you DIY you could save a ton of money and if you shop around you will save even more
