i saw a video a while ago about a guy that tried to clearcoat the plastidip and it looked like ****.. this time, it doesnt look too bad. i do see the orange peel effect..

you're probably not going to be able to get plastidip to form a smooth flat surface without rubbing a hole into it. so i wouldnt even try to clear it. the flat black goes well with any color car except maybe black. since its not a permanent grille, i wouldnt have worried about it.

Yeah thast the reason i will not try to make it flat cause if i do i know for sure it will make a hole and then i will have to do it all over again and trust me i dont want to do that when i will be changing it soon well not soon but later.
