passinger side AC vent gate problem

passinger side AC vent gate problem

hi everyone

I took my 04 last week to a local polshing shop . and I found the right side is blocked and locked and I chould open it . the lift side is only open - block but not turning to right or lift .

how can i fix them ??

My inside passenger vent is off track too. The spinner that open and closes the vent spins but is off track inside the vent. The spinner spins but is way off center. I've tried to re-center it with a lot of force but it doesn't reset. Sounds like the same issue so hopefully someone can tell us how to fix it.

pics maybe? ill post again the next time i get in my car and take a look.

i think its just one of those things where you just need to take it apart and put it back together.

If I'm right, I guess what the Op is referring to is the Ventilator. I doubt if those things are repairable. Once the internal components are broken or misaligned that's it. check courtesyparts:

Not too expensive. It looks like there are some tabs on the right side of the unit that need to be compressed to pull it out. I'm assuming it pulls forward straight out of the dash after compressing those tabs. I may take a stab at it next weekend. Thanks

I just took my car to an A/C workshop . and they fixed it perfictly in 2 hours !!!! they told me that they have opened all the front consul !!! . Did not believe them hounstly .

anyway . I think that we can take the vent out but I am afraid of breaking it
