My CVT went

This article is about a Murano with a CVT and turbo and 340 horsepower with 265 lb-ft of torque. It may apply to this question of ability to handle the power.

No one knows that and I wont say anything unless it does fail and, well there are a few A35 CVT's handling N2O just fine.
Since I dyno a lot, the only gripe I have with the CVT is how the hell do you dyno?
That's a good place to start. I would start at 50 and move up. What kit are you going with, wet I imagine, and who's installing?

It's all good amigo. Good luck fighting those fires and thanks for responding. I can't beleve this happened to you. Did you drive your car hard in Manuel mode? Be honest now...

i used the manual mode maybe twice. it didnt make sense to me since you cant feel the tranny anyway.

Yup... found it really odd to see a cassette player in a 2005 vehicle when I got my Maxima a few months back.
But, $10.00 later for a cassette adapter at Office Depot and I was playing my MP3 player through the car's stereo. I just leave the adapter in there all the time now and I'm good to go.
BTW, glad to find a Maxima-specific forum. Been on some of the other all-model Nissan boards and they did not have much participation in the Maxima forums. This one looks pretty lively!

Honda is right underneath Nissan. Only thing good Honda offers IS a VTECH engine. That's it. Personally I think the VQ blast the VTECH away. Also I think this thread is fake as well. Could b real but chances are small. O7-08 CVTs should be solid. Mine is solid still and I drive the crap out of mine everyday. It only has 43,400 on it

When im in Manual Mode in my car you kinda feel the gear changes, mostly on downshifts, you feel the engine braking which is kind of agressive and a slight jerk as the car goes into a "lower gear". Upshifts dont feel like anything, lol.

to be honest i just didnt have the time. i had to work that night and i was already running 45 minutes behind schedule. on top of that the guy i dealt with was a nice guy but he was one of those people that takes 10 minutes to give you a 2 second answer.
