06 Maxima power tilt/telescope steering wheel issues

Last week My 06 Maxmia started to make a grinding , clicking noise when I got out the car.

Before the steering wheel would tilt up and telescope forward smooth and with a quiet hum.

Anyone else having this issue and what did you do to fix the issue?

You are probably looking at about a $600 repair.

Sorry to bring up an old post but I've searched everywhere on the forums for a pretty odd problem with my steerin wheel.
I have a decent amount of play in m steerin wheel. When it's locked into position if I push up it moves up like its loose, a screw is missing or loose, or something and it only has the slack when I push it up there is no slack side to side. Wondering if anyone has had this problem on there 6th gen? Or of anyone knows what could possibly be wrong with it. Any advice or or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
