Please HELP if you've had p1402, p1800, etc etc
hey everyone,
I am in need of a little assistance i'm going nuts here, my 2004 maxima SE is driving me crazy. And i just want to fix it at this point so i can sell it.
Started 3 weeks ago, car threw 3 codes.... Misfire.....p1402 (some EGR issue)...p1800(variable induction intake system VIAS)
My mechanic wanted to start with plugs since i have 130k and i had a delayed startup and putter when idling. He also cleaned my EGR which was clogged with debris.
Well 15 miles later light was back on. I bring it back to mechanic all 3 codes are still there. After much research, TSB's, and back pressure checks on my CAT-converters. He realizes the rear small cat was all honeycombed and falling apart. Well after replacing the CAT ($$$$) I drive the car for 60 miles....light comes back on
So today I went to auto zone to have them run the codes since mechanic is closed. Now i have only 2 codes one of them being brand new....still the p1800 (VIAS control solenoid) and a new code p1273 Failed AF sensor/vacuum leak or Fuel injector regulator.
Is this mess all related? I honestly thought the new catalytic converter would of solved my problems
but maybe I had two simultaneous issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Recently I had a lot of codes and fought them one by one. One of them was 1800, bad solenoid. I replaced it, that was it.
What else do you have?
I also had
340 rear cam sensor
21 variable intake cam solenoid
misfire codes 302, 306 etc. bad ignition coils.
3.5 engines are known to have dieing ign. coils and cam/crank sensors, very common.
Solenoids are pretty easy to check, check resistance, apply voltage to hear click.
Every stupid mechanic begins replacing spark plugs, which are usually platinum and last almost forever.
