Rough Ride?

Trying to get some ideas on how to get my 05 back to having a better rride. Currently have 130,000. I am in the Army and this car has been all over the place with me. Over time the ride has gotten a little rough for my taste. I thought about swapping my 18's for 17's to try and get a smoother ride. Any suggestions in regards to the front end. I have had this car since 2006 and am not looking at getting rid of it anytime soon. Holla at me!!

What do mean a little rougher. Have you checked to see if your shocks, struts are worn? If so replace and should be back to factory ride.

What I meant was that bumps and things of that nature are felt just a little more than they used to be. I had the struts replaced a while back. Going to look at taking care of the shocks as well.

You provided very little information to get the right advice. Is your car lowered? Is your shocks/struts worn, replaced? Do you have stock springs, coilovers or straight drop aftermarket? Do you have low profile tires?

You need to be more specific with what you have, and what you've done

That's what I had to do on my 04' - All struts and shocks have been replaced. The ride is better and I had a "broken" stut up front which made the ride very noisey over anmy kind of bump.

The tires on these cars can cause a BAAAaad ride if they haven't been maintained/rotated properly.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say I probably need new shocks. I've had the car since 2006 when it had around 35,000 on it. Your right about the tires. Though about getting some 17's and replace the 18's.
