Black Vinyl Trim Overlay

Whats a good product for putting black vinyl over the chrome roof trim which isn't looking chrome anymore, and where to buy it? (I'm just covering the front top one that bends not the rear one that looks good.) Is gloss, or matte better match for the paint? I'm thinking gloss cause the paints shiny.

I want a nice thin vinyl type of material - no thick tape material like electrical tape. lol

bluebatmobile sells chrome strip overlays. My friend has it on his Max and it looks pretty good. I'm not sure about only doing the roof one though, unless your car's black (your sig says blue). If you only do the roof I'd color match.

$28 a strip is a steal. get them while they are cheap. will cost more in material, tools, and time.

Go to home depo and get a can of plasti dip. At 7 bucks a can its cheap and if you dont like it just peel it off and respray it. Its pretty amazing stuff look it up on youtube. and if you want gloss there is a clear coat they make for it too. I have it done on my maxima and its held perfectly for a year now
