HID Color Change - HELP!

Passenger side OEM H.I.D. turned a "pinkish" color. Driver side is normal.

What do i fix? New Ballast and / or bulb? Loose connections?

If it turned pinkish, to me, and i'm not any sort of professional, seems like it is burning at a much higher temp (30,000k vs 5000k) This makes me think that the ballast is letting in more amperage or voltage or something like that. I've never came across a HID that changed colours like that. Only SLIGHTLY or they go out all together

That bulb is going out. Replace both and keep the driverside as a spare.

It's not your ballasts and OEM ones are not that cheap.

It's the bulbs. That's what happens when they have a ton of hours on them and they're about to die.

DDM ballasts won't be plug and play for him and aren't as good. He'd also need bulb adapters.

Am not a bulb expert here. I would rather the OEM stock for the 05 max HID.... pull that fender off, plug and recover....... this pink-eye hurts!

Is it a D2R or D2S bulb that i need and whats the difference between them, and which one operates the high and low beams in one?
