Hello I have a 04 maxima se with the 6 spd manual trans just pushin 150,000 miles.
I have some issues with the car. It has the check engine light on codes are p1273 and p0340 it think it was cam position bank one. Running problems too, car seems to die when it feels like it some times not for weeks sometime 5 times in a day, long cranks to start sometimes. Looking for advice as to what to attack first or way to test anything. Please any help would be great thanks

 

Replace your Camshaft Position Sensor. The sensor causes all the "other" problems you have listed. It is a one fix solution to all your mentioned problems.
