2004 Maxima Transmission Issues

i was having a hard time starting the max sunday, turned right off every time. after it
turned on i shifted to drive but it seemed to be stuck on 5th gear shortly after shifting to drive. it was
hesitating to accelerate more than 20mph so i switched to manual mode but wouldnt down shift. parked
in the garage and disconnected the battery, the next day i re-connected the battery and everything
seemed ok. been driving it around and seems alright, the last 2 weeks the tranny had been acting up,
feeling jerky and what not.should i bail or is this not too much of a serious problem that is still worth
fixing....any feedback helps....thanks and yes i read parts of the sticky. there seem to be a lot of posts
on tranny issues as of lately i guess its that time of year

Camshaft Position Sensors. Change them out. Yes both of them. OEM only. They are about $80 each. Take 10 min to replace.
