hit Y pipe with a rock, exhaust sound, replacement?

whats the best place to get a replacement Y pipe?

 

cant repair it?

 

junk yard man... and get one for dirt cheap.

if saving money is important, it would be much cheaper to spend time researching for a pick-n-pull/pick-a-part place, going to harbor freight buying a 40 dollar saws-all or grinder and cutting an old one off than the price of a new one. its just metal under a car, it doesn't need to look pretty. Or you can just cut the dent out, and weld a new piece in place. If your performance wasn't affected just fill in the crack/hole/leak with some weld.

you could easily buy a new cheapy arc welder or a nice used one for less than a new OEM y-pipe and do it yourself.

 

There is a group deal going on right now for a racing line y-pipe... just in case you ever thought of modding.

 

not really into modding.

I don,t see any hole where it hit, that's why im a bit puzzled. Can,t find the leak.
(no garage though, and cant really jack the car outside....)

 

passenger side cat pipe broke. cant be welded I was told. part is 400$....
