Help with Bulldog Security 1200b Remote starter.

Hey Maxima.org

So I've probablly spent 16hours on my back lying in the floorboard of my car looking up at the ignition switch, BCM, and various other things under my dash. Followed the color coded wire charts to the 'T'. I have the transponder antena around the igntion switch infront of the factory one, transponer key in the module that cranks the car otherwise, I should be ready to go.

I can get it to start if I hit the remote ignition button and turn the key to on and the car will crank by itself. I can then turn the ignition key to off and the car will stay on. Hitting the off button the car will turn off. But it won't turn on and off otherwise. Any thoughts? I've tried to call tech support without avail. I'm pulling my hair out. My brain is fried. I have a 2007 Max SE.

Having understanding what your saying but are you saying the remote start doesn't work without the key being in ?

You should get a DBall instead of that transponder thing

The DBall is very easy to install

Sort of. I actually have to hit the ignition button on the remote and then turn the ignition switch to the 'on' position. After about a sec or 2 the car will turn over and start. I don't know. I'm about ready to fold and drop it off somewhere and let someone else do it.

I would get rid of it and look into a DBall module makes everything so much easier, no spare key involved
