honestly everyone is going to tell you none of them cause billets tend to look ugly on our maximas but they look decent on 7th gens. get a cmod they look sporty. also if u are hundred percent on billet get polished cause u can go back and forth with black and polish by using plastidip. best of luck

Ok thanks. Just trying to get ideas. I have dr-40 drag wheels i just put on. They are polished alloy and five grey spoked. I like them. I guess its what I am wanting to see everyday. I can't make my mind up.

I would definitely get the black billet grille looks more sporty then the polished. The C-Mod grille looks like **** with cheap looking chicken wire. You see billet grilles on sports cars like Mustangs, and Challengers, etc.

The upper grille fits great (replaces stock grille), and the lower grille is an optional bolt over which is not a great fit because the ends of the grille aren't flush with the molding, but I feel it makes it look more complete. Bad design that could easily be fixed if they just turned the ends in more. IMO I'm 70% for the lower grille on the 04-06 because of the bumper design. On the 07-08 I'm 100% for the lower grille cause with that bumper design it should fit perfect.

I think its an obvious decision.

Thanks for the input. I did not like the c-mod grille. Chicken wire it is. You have made my unsure mind up. I like to get input. It is I who will have to live with my decisions. Thanks again.

Good choice, avoid c-mod. They made a grille for a car that they don't even have over there, which is why their grilles for the 6th gen fit like ****. They tried to design a new one, it fit like crap, supposedly redesigned it using my pictures, still fits like crap. The only reason their 6.5th gen fit so well was because they probably used the OEM grille as a base and made very minor changes. For the 6th gen they couldn't use the OEM grille as a base so instead used an unmounted bumper, so flex and the hood weren't accounted for very well (if at all). Get whatever grille YOU like and flows with your car better. I currently have the E&G Q grille painted black, flows with my car pretty well I think.

When I installed the lower grille the 2 screws they gave me weren't long enough for me, so I bought 2 longer stainless steel black tipped screws. You have to wrap a s-hook over the piece of plastic behind the molding. With the smaller screws I couldn't get the s-hook to reach the molding. Be careful not to over tighten, or you will bend the molding piece that the s-hook is attached too, and cause a cosmetic tear.
