Level Ten Complaints

So I got the stupid trans problem. I started with the cam shaft sensors and it fixed all the problems. No more slam shifts from 2nd to 1st and D to R to D.

BUT, i got a little excited when my trans broke and instantly bought the level ten "upgrade" valve body and shift kit before I was finished with the sensors. so it is on its way.

I decided this is not something I want to do myself. I feel sorta confident that I could do it but I just spent 4 grand yesterday on a 383 stroker for my corvette and if anything goes wrong putting that valve body in or the after procedures I can't afford to fix it and Ill have a broke down maxima (which is my #1 daily driver and i hate my altima, i seriously hate it). So I am paying AAMCO (money thieves) to do it for 440. I tried getting a better shop for less but this is what I found and this is why I am posting this thread.

I called about 6 trans shops before I gave up. I was either turned away completely, or told they will do it (for the same price) and with no warranty. They all said they have tried all the shift kits and rebuilt valve bodies for all the cars that have them and THEY ALL FAIL!!! I wasn't just told that by one disgruntled shop owner who lost money on few people, they all said something like they all fail or the vast majority of their customers come back complaining.

I said "well, what do you know about level 10" they said nothing but that all rebuilds are all the same and yadda yadda that if it aint broke dont fix it. BUT I WANT IT!!! I want that performance upgrade with the valve body and the shift kit they put in for the additional 100 bucks (which I get for free cause I am awesome) I already have it, I want to put it on.

So this scared me obviously and I want a new newer thread with responses of people who have the level ten valve body upgrade. How long have you had it? have you had any problems?

I have no complaints with my transgo shift kit in my 96 max and no complaints with the level 10 upgraded valve body and shift kit on the 05 max.

awesome!! thats what I want to hear.

just out of curiosity, did the butt dyno feel the performance upgrade or is this more a piece of mind. I mean my maxima did not like to shift and I lost a lot of acceleration in the form of lost momentum between shifts. The shift kit is supposed to quicken this up right?
