Time

Just Tuned up 2004 Maxima now I'm getting a P0300 code have taken plugs back and checked gap put car back together still getting the zero 300 code engine idles fine when you put it in gear he has no power Please help does anybody have any suggestions

make sure you put the plugs on completely and that they are not on wrong plug. Sounds like they are not firing in the right order.

tried all that checked while running by unpluging coil packs 1 at a time cylinders #1-3-5 the whole rear side is not firing help plz

ok so you have narrowed it down to one bank. I recommend that you take one of your coil packs from your other bank (the side that works) and put it on the plug of the side that does not. This sounds crazy, but do this to check and see if it is still the coil packs for that side. This will also tell you if it is a compression or fuel pressure issue. Post results when done. I would do this with each coil pack. This eliminates the spark plugs, compression, and fuel.

okay i changed the coil packs (all three from one side to the other ) still doing the same thing i can actually un plugg the wiring harness for the rear bank and it makes no difference its only running on the front side plz help i've checked the wiring harness plug and all the wires in that general area checked all the fuses under hood and in car cant find anything oh yea thanks for your replys ive been catching a ride to work because its my wifes car she's driving mine.

So plugs are probably good, packs are confirmed good. Now you need to check fuel. Go over that bank and ensure you are getting fuel. Make sure the injectors are installed correctly and that the rail was put back on right. Also make sure all of your connections for the egr are put back correctly on the top back part of the intake plenum. If the spark is good, then you have fuel or air. Air is the least likely cause unless you don't have a good seal.

Po8pimp thank you for your help I've got it now runs like a sewing machine it was getting fire it was not getting fuel I guess when I unplugged the fuel injection harness I broke a wire fixed that and baad a bing that was it again thanks you put me on the right track
