where to get the fog light bulb holding pin

Hey guys, I was changing my fog light bulb and the pin holding the bulb broke....has anyone experience this? Do they just sell the pin or do i have to get the whole headlight unit?

fog lights are terrible to change out in this car. The pin will break if you don't do it right.

You need walk into nissan, go to the parts section and order a new one for a few bucks. you won't be able to find that pin anywhere else.

just take out the pin you have, grab a paper clip and a pair of needle nose pliars and make a new one by copying the original one. If you wanna be real fancy you can temper the finished piece. That is why i did. Took me about 1.2 minutes to make the paperclip and 3 min tempering it with a lighter and a cup of ice water.

Its been working ever since.

The paper clip trick works or you can go to a junkyard and get a whole assembly

you could get a paper clip or even a cotter pin and bend it the way it needs to be. Cotter pins are a little stronger than paper clips.

just have to find one that is small enough to work. They are the strongest alternative and made to bend.

I recommend taking the broken one in and compare prior to purchase. If they don't have the correct one, they have kits with multiple sizes in them. If you don't have the broken one, take the other one off the other side, they should be the same in size.
