Can anyone tell if my 07 Max Se is stock Hid or Stock Halogen.

From the pic, That looks like HID to me.

I just called nissan and they looked up then vin and said it was halogen. I'm shocked. Hard to believe the halogens are this bright.

HIR2 bulbs are brighter than the average halogen bulbs. Not sure if it's the same on the 6.5th gen Maximas, but on the 6th gens it says what bulb the headlights use on the corner of the headlight lens, either HIR2 or D2S.

I believe the Hid is D2S and the Halogens are 9012

Wow apparently the 6.5 gen only has nissan engraved.

Another way to tell is, when you turn on the lights do they kinda flicker on and then get brighter, or do they turn on instantly and maintain the same brightness? If you notice they flicker when they turn on, you have the HID's.
